Power scaling is more common in Shonen anime than in other genres. Even though Some isekai and other genres also display great fights and overpowered characters, Shonen fans are more into such debates.
Usually, such debates get extremely fierce and toxic sometimes but here’s a list of a few anime characters that are said to be the most powerful anime characters to ever exist.

1. Gojo Satoru
Jujutsu Kaisen stayed on the top throughout the year 2021. Both the manga and anime were trending. This new-gen Shonen anime shows amazing fights and strong characters like Gojo, Geto, and Sukuna.
Gojo is a teacher at the Tokyo Jujutsu Highschool and a special grade sorcerer too. He is said to be the most powerful sorcerer.
Gojo is shown to be extremely overpowered in the show and he claims that he is the strongest and that no one can even get near him. The thing that makes Gojo so strong is his ability the Infinity. Infinity allows him to manipulate space at his will, making him invincible.
In the anime, he uses a remarkable technique Hollow Purple using Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue and Cursed Technique Reversal: Red.
Hollow is created by combining both attracting and repelling energies that are the positive energy and negative curse energy. It results in the complete destruction of anything that comes in its way.
2. Anos Voldigoad
The Misfit of Demon King Academy was released in summer 2021. The main protagonist Anos Voldigoad is a demon king who gets reincarnated after 2000 years as he had promised to his people. Anos is a demon king with immense magic power and physical strength. He’s sharp and intelligent and has strong spell knowledge.
Defeating Anos is impossible for anyone because he’s the most powerful and strongest demon to ever exist. Even when an antagonist tries to him, he fails brutally. Even taking his heart or his life sources doesn’t kill him.
Anos himself says that he’s invincible and nothing or no one can finish him.
His strong magic power and sharp battle techniques make him undefeatable. He does not only know destructive magic but he also controls construction. Anos sure is shown to be overpowered.
3. Meliodas: Dragon’s Sin of Wrath
Meliodas from The Seven Deadly Sins is the sin of wrath and the captain of the seven deadly sins. He also had been the leader of the Ten Commandments. He’s extremely strong and often loses control when his true dark power is revealed.
His most famous technique is Full Counter which allows him to fully counter and repel incoming attacks.
While using the full counter, he uses a blade to repel and send the attack back to the enemy with full force.
At the start of the series, Meliodas loses his consciousness every time he used his real power driving him insane and out of control.
But by the end of the series, in the last season which was aired in 2021, he eventually becomes the demon king and attains full control over his powers.
All this makes him insanely overpowered. Even though King Arthur is stronger than him, he remains one of the strongest anime characters to ever exist.
4. Goku: Ultra Instinct
A list of strong anime characters is incomplete without Goku or someone from the Dragon Ball verse. Goku’s most recent form is Ultra Instinct in the anime. Ultra Instinct is known to be the form of gods. It is the ultimate technique.
UI is the strongest form of Goku yet which allows him to fight thoughtlessly without any emotion and makes him move at unbelievable speeds.
Even though characters like Zeno, Whis, and Beerus exist who are way much more powerful than Goku, Goku remains one of the best-known strongest characters in the anime community.
5. Giorno Giovanna
Giorno Giovana is the main protagonist of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind. He is the son of DIO who awakens his stand in his teenage.
Giorno’s stand Golden Experience is one of the most versatile stands in the show. Golden Experience is shown to be capable of the creation and manipulation of life.
Just like ZA WARUDO (The World) and Star Platinum, Golden Experience is a short-range type stand that can release rapid punches.
Golden Experience Requiem or GER was attainted after Giorno stabbed himself and the stand with the stand making Arrow.
It can nullify the opponent’s willpower and actions, making it look as if it’s playing with the opponent’s consciousness.
If GER kills someone, the person enters a never-ending death loop, meaning that it can even nullify their death and then send them back to start over.

6. Saitama
Saitama is the main protagonist of the series One Punch Man. He’s a guy who at first wanted to be a hero just for fun.
He works hard and trains a lot to gain strength. At last, he becomes the most powerful being to ever exist.
He’s at the peak of his strength. But things get boring for him as he’s too overpowered and all that it takes for him to defeat an opponent, is just a single punch.
Some people often refer to him as a god who’s never been defeated and can take on literally anyone.
He’s too overpowered and the origin of these powers and strength is still unclear. He’s undoubtedly the strongest anime character to ever exist.
7. Issac Netero
Issac Netero from Hunter x Hunter was the 12th chairman of the Hunter Association. In his youth days, he was known to be the strongest nen user to ever exist.
Even in his old age, he remained the most powerful nen user.
Netero also possessed great physical strength. He trained all his life to master a certain technique which he unleashed in his final duel against Meruem.
He released the 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva against Meruem, which is known to be Netero’s strongest move. He was able to launch over 1000 attacks in a minute during that state.
Because of this godly feat, Netero is known as one of the strongest characters of Hunter x Hunter.
